Welcome to the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society Web Site
The Canadian Psychoanalytic Society is the National Society for Canadian Psychoanalysts affiliated with the International Psychoanalytical Association. The Canadian became a Component Society of the International on July 31, 1957.
Currently the Canadian has some 400 members coast to coast in local branches in Vancouver, London, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

Call for Papers: The congress program committee invites submissions. Send to the CPS secretariat at
psyanal@qc.aira.com or mail submissions to the CPS office, address below. The deadline is December 1, 2009. Later
submissions are welcomed but will only be considered space permitting.
Prize for Best Paper: The author of best accepted paper, as judged by the programme committee, received by the
December 1st deadline, will receive a non-monetary award of an upgrade to a Junior Suite hotel room, complimentary
parking within the hotel, and a waiver of both the registration fee and the President’s dinner fee.
Early Bird Hotel Room Rates: The best rate of $189 for a luxurious room is available until December 1st, 2009
after which a rate of $199 can be obtained until May 30th, 2010, subject to availability. Upgraded accommodations,
